Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder at Delfest 2019

In the realm of bad news/good news, some of you have probably heard that Sam Bush had to undergo an unexpected surgery this week. The bad news is that Sam sadly won’t be able to join us in Cumberland this year. The good news is that he’s going to be perfectly alright and back in pickin’ shape soon. The fantastic news is that (never at a loss for pals to help out in a pinch) Del rounded up the great Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder to come and fill Sam’s spots on Sunday. He and the band will perform late Sunday and Ricky will be able to strap on his Red Telecaster and join the TM’s at late night to continue what Rolling Stone called the best 36 minutes of DelFest 2018.  That is a BIG DEL YEAH!
