Pull Tab Collections

Hello everyone! I can’t believe it’s been three years since our last Delfest! Really looking forward to seeing everyone again!

I know back in 2019 we started collecting pulltabs for the Ronald McDonald house. Our goal was to have everyone bring their tabs back to DelFest in 2020 and also collect that week at the festival. Well, things changed a little bit, didn’t they? I know a lot of you have still been collecting over the years and I appreciate that so much! We would love for you to bring your tabs to Delfest and we will have a drop off point for you to leave all the tabs that you have collected. We will also have buckets around the festival grounds for you to drop your tabs in.  Very cool buckets indeed made by John and Holly Reasner with our favorite “Chicken Man” Jon Kehoe & Ronnie McCoury pulling their wagon full of tabs!  Jon has been my partner in helping to get this collection going and continuing and he will be collecting tabs at his camp as well.

We will take the tabs to a recycling center and 100% of the proceeds will go to the Ronald McDonald house in Baltimore Maryland. The money is used to purchase gas for their shuttle that takes families to and from area hospitals. We throw these tabs away without even thinking about it.  These can come from all beverage cans, soup and vegetable cans, cat and dog food cans…So let’s pitch in and see how much money Delfest and the Delfest family can raise for the Ronald McDonald House.

Thanks so much!

Allison McCoury & Jon Kehoe
