The KidZone is an exploratory and interactive place, designed to spark imagination and keep curious minds engaged with piles of outrageous silliness and cool activities! Many volunteer groups, including some from the local region, bring their talents and enthusiasm to the area to provide our DelFest families with a magical and fun-packed weekend. Our crafting activities are some of the most popular activities we offer and they give children the freedom to roll up their little sleeves and create one of a kind works of art. The KidZone welcomes the doodlers, the daydreamers, the shade dwellers, spectators, and the soon-to-be scholars. All are welcome to watch and enjoy, or jump right in! This is not childcare. Kids 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
2022 KidZone Activities
RhythmetriX (Primal Drum Instruction) will be returning; as well as, CamilleWho?, Friends of the Cheat , Kid’s Yoga w/Mary G, Peace Sign Mosaic activity with Donna’s Creative mosaics, and Petunia the Clown! Other activities include a water balloon battle (weather dependent) and daily crafts!
As always, we are thrilled for our Sunday Parade and to see all the amazing skills shown off in our Talent Show!
Something new we are bringing to the KidZone is ‘Yonder Book Nook.’ Come relax and read a book on hand at the pavilion or borrow it and return it before the festival ends.
There is so much in store and we cannot wait! Round up the fam, grab your tickets, and head over to DelFest in a few short weeks for a fun-filled weekend!
There will be a family camping area designated for those who would like a more kid-friendly environment that is quieter late at night and a bit louder early in the morning. If you have little ones in tow and are interested in camping in Family Camp, let your parking attendant know and you’ll be pointed in the right direction. Space is designated on a first come, first served basis.
