| As a member of the North Mississippi Allstars, The Black Crowes, South Memphis String Band and The Word, Luther has made himself widely known as both a talented musician and as a producer. The Wandering features a collection of diverse musicians hailing from parts of Mississippi and Tennessee. Their debut album entitled Go On You Can’t Stay Here will be released on May 8th. The band features singer-songwriter Shannon McNally, who has 8 solo releases to her name and has toured with the likes of Stevie Nicks and Ryan Adams. Memphis based Amy Lavere is an upright bass player known for her unique blend of classic country, gypsy jazz and southern soul. Valerie June is a self-taught guitarist, banjoist and songwriter who had a featured role on the MTV web series $5 Cover. Sharde Thomas, the granddaughter of blues legend Otha Turner, is best known for wowing audiences everywhere with her fife playing. |
