A truly family affair featuring a band of brothers and nephews, The Lee Boys are a joyous African-American sacred steel ensemble whose craft was inspired in the Florida church where their father and grandfather was the pastor. Though their music has its roots in praise, faith and hope, there's a lot more funk than what echoes through most church walls! As is typical of their religious musical traditions, however, this is not "sit down" music: dancing, shouting out and having fun are essential parts of the experience.
