All multi-day passes include on-site camping. Parking fee NOT included, see below. On-site camping at DelFest surrounds the perimeter of the fairgrounds among ballfields, in the woods and beyond in Green Acres. Green Acres is a beautiful grassy lawn on the far north section of the property. It’s on high ground, and will be a spacious place for you to spread out with friends and family, about .5 mile stroll to the music meadow entrance. On-site camping is walk-in tent camping only, festival shuttles will help to haul gear from the parking area upon arrival and departure. Expect to be parked tightly and efficiently, and to use the wooded areas for walk-in camping. You won’t be too far from your vehicle, but do not expect to camp right next to your car as we need to maximize parking space, and park efficiently.
The fairgrounds have permanent restrooms and showers, and we supplement the facilities with ample portable toilets. Please be courteous and take only the space you need. Roping off areas and saving space for latecomers is not acceptable festival etiquette. Days in Cumberland are mild, averaging in the low 70′s in May, but you may want to consider bringing shade structures, tarps or anything that will help create a shaded area in your campsite. Camping overnight on Sunday is permitted. All patrons must leave the fairgrounds by early afternoon on Monday.
There will be a family camping area designated for those who would like a more kid-friendly environment that is quieter late at night (and a bit louder early in the morning). If you’ve got little ones in tow and you are interested in camping in Family Camp, let your parking attendant know and you’ll be pointed in the right direction. As always space is designated on a first come, first served basis.
New for 2013: Family Camp RV Passes is an option for those with kiddos in tow. You’ll be placed in the Family Camp area, where it’s quieter in the evenings and more active in the mornings. All RV Passes are currently sold out. Family Camp Parking is available by request upon arrival – must have On-Site Parking Pass.
The Show Sherpa is excited to return to DelFest with The Sherpa Village, our on-site tent hotel. Outfitted with Eureka’s top of the line recreational camping gear, The Sherpa Village features tents with almost seven feet of head room and comfy camping cots set-up inside to keep you dry and off the cold ground. Other Sherpa Village amenities include a community camp kitchen with large camp grills and roomy shelters filled with Eureka camping chairs for relaxing out of the elements. Free Coffee, a complimentary bag of ice each day, you can even hear the main stage right from your tent!
Reservations are closed for The Show Sherpa at this year’s DelFest.
