Camping and Parking

Camping

On-Site Camping

All multi-day passes include on-site walk-in camping.  Parking NOT included, see below. On-site camping at DelFest surrounds the perimeter of the fairgrounds among ballfields, in the woods and beyond in Green Acres. On-site camping is walk-in tent camping only. Expect to be parked tightly and efficiently, and to use the wooded areas for walk-in camping. You won’t be too far from your vehicle, but do not expect to camp right next to your car as we need to maximize parking space, and park efficiently. Wagons and hand carts are encouraged. Shuttles will be available to assist in load-in.

Tent Camping at DelFest

The fairgrounds have permanent restrooms and showers, and we supplement the facilities with ample portable toilets. Please be courteous and take only the space you need. Roping off areas and saving space for latecomers is not acceptable festival etiquette. Camping overnight on Sunday is permitted. All patrons must leave the fairgrounds by noon on Monday.

DelFest is accessible to all guests with disabilities. View Accessibility Information and Registration details here.

Family Camp

There will be a family camping area designated for those who would like a more kid-friendly environment that is quieter late at night (and a bit louder early in the morning). If you’ve got little ones in tow and you are interested in camping in Family Camp, let your parking attendant or shuttle driver know and you’ll be pointed in the right direction. Must have a Family Camp RV Pass or On-Site Fairgrounds Parking Pass to be parked in Family Camp. As always space is designated on a first come, first served basis.

Show Sherpa is currently in transition…please check back soon while we find an alternate solution.

ON-SITE PARKING PASSES (4-day, 3-day passholders only)

Parking Passes are required for all on-site parking (limited quantity available). You must have a 4-day or 3-day Pass to purchase. Walk-in tent camping is in separate area from on-site parking with a shuttle provided. Patrons and vehicles may only enter site the day their ticket is valid for (for example, three-day pass holders may not enter until Friday; two-day pass holder may not enter until Saturday). Please visit the FAQ page for ticketing information.

  • On-Site Fairgrounds Parking Pass

Vehicle ins and outs ARE permitted with an On-Site Fairgrounds Parking Pass. Do not expect to park in same spot upon return.

  • RV Parking Passes

If the total length of your vehicle plus anything attached to it is 18′ or longer, it is considered an RV and must have a RV Pass or RV Dry Pass to park on-site. Festival passes must be purchased separately.

  • Accessible parking is available upon request and display of valid state issued placard. Purchase of an on-site vehicle pass is required. View Accessibility Information and Registration details here.

OFF-SITE PARKING PASSES

Off-site Parking with 24 hour shuttle service to fairgrounds will be available for purchase, and is located at the Allegany Community College: 12401 Willowbrook Rd. Cumberland, MD 21502

  • Multi-Day Passes –  All multi-day festival-goers must proceed to the main box office first for wristband exchange before proceeding to the Fairgrounds.  No overnight camping in off-site parking lot.
  • Single Day Parking – If you are coming just for the day and do not plan to camp, single day parking, payable at the time of parking, will be available.

RV PASSES

Need to rent?  Ace Rentals is DelFest’s preferred provider (free rides from IAD!). Must also purchase a DelFest RV Parking Pass.

  • RV Hook-ups – SOLD OUT

Required for all vehicles 18′ or longer (including trailers) parking on-site. If the total length of your vehicle plus anything attached to it is 18′ or longer, it is considered an RV. Hook-ups are designated on a first-come, first-served basis. Hookups not guaranteed after 11pm on Thursday. Placement is on a first-come, first-served basis per the plans of our parking crew. This may include, but is not limited to the RV Pavilion, central fairgrounds loop, or other locations throughout the fairgrounds that have been upgraded with hookups. Hookups include limited electric, 30 amps to be shared. Please bring an extension cord and an RV power adapter. Be prepared to use minimal electricity throughout the festival. If you’d like to use water, please arrive with a full tank and use limited water on-site. Hoses and splitters are helpful.  No ins and outs. Festival passes must be purchased separately.
